Dr. Mastaglio was the founding Executive Director of the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC) at Old Dominion University. He has served during his 40 plus year career as a leader in the modeling and simulation arena both in and out of uniform. He has served in community service positions as a member of the Army Science Board, Technology Advisor to Department of Defense Research and Engineering, appointee to the Virginia General Assembly Technology Advisory Council, Tidewater Community College, ODU Department of Engineering, Pruden Center Board of Advisors, Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce Board member, a Director for the Society for Simulation, member of the I/ITSEC Program Committee and the National M&S Coalition initial Board of Directors.

Former Director of Marketing for VMASC. Successful principle startup with over 35 years experience in all phases of marketing communications; specializing in public affairs and media relations. Over twelve years with Weyerhaeuser in brand marketing and sales management. Mr. Younger received a Bachelor’s Degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia and is the Co-founder of the MODSIM WORLD Conference & Expo.

Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer, MYMIC LLC

Mr. Carpenter has over 10 years of accounting and financial management experience.  He joined MYMIC in June 2010 and is responsible for managing all of MYMIC’s accounting and financial activities.  Prior to joining MYMIC, he was the controller for an $80 million operation of a large defense services company.  He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University in 2003.
